Shoes for a sage dress?

This might honestly seem stupid, but I guess I%26#039;ve run out of creative ideas. What color shoes go with a sage dress? Ivory? White? Can black go if I want my bridesmaids to just wear shoes they own? It%26#039;s a tea length dress, so the shoes will be seen....

Shoes for a sage dress?
ivory or cream would look great...or get shoes dyed to match
Reply:I%26#039;d go with white - then they can just choose the shoes they want - specify sandals or pumps, for example.

My attendants had tealength dresses, too, for our July wedding. All I specified was that they wear white pumps - then they could pick the heel height, and any style - or embellishment on the shoes they wanted, and since they chose them, they%26#039;d wear them again.

If it%26#039;s summer, don%26#039;t go with black. Ivory is an option, but then there are different %26#039;shades%26#039;.
Reply:I think a nice Ivory would be good. If possible, I would get them to match in a style that the bridesmaids will all be able to wear again. Dyed to match shoes would be good, too, but they probably wouldn%26#039;t be worn again. I like the idea of more versatile clothes and shoes.....

I don%26#039;t think black would be as nice, nor do I like for them to all be different....
Reply:I LOVE that colour.

You have lots of choices, and all will work well.

The women could get shoes and have them dyed to match. It%26#039;s a nice look but the shoes are unlikely to be worn again.

A white or ivory shoe would be nice and very versatile.

So would a shoe in a light tan, kind of a nude colour. Something like this:

Finally, a bronze or gold metallic would also be nice.
Reply:Maybe silver strappy sandals. (With heels, obviously.)

Maybe something like these:

Reply:I love silver with sage. Don%26#039;t try to have shoes dyed as they never really come out exact. Do silver shoes and silver bag. Stunning.
Reply:get dye to match shoes and have them match the dress

tan, brown, black, ivory and cream will match too- just don%26#039;t go too light
Reply:Ivory with silver accents would be ideal.
Reply:Don%26#039;t do black shoes it too much of a contrast. Go with a creamy color or a really soft green like the softest
Reply:I think a silver shoe would be lovely.
Reply:silver or dyeables ones would work best.
