Is it okay to wear black socks with brown slacks and brown dress shoes?

I don't have any brown socks and I don't see many brown socks at the stores or on other people. Is it fashionably okay to wear this combination, or are people secretly laughing at me?

u should be happy you have clothes in the first place. Do you think homeless people are worried about what color of socks they have? They are just worried about having socks.

Reply:black with brown??....geez...do u live in a trailerpark?...my mom taught me to wear purple or lime green socks with brown slacks....this would be for a business meeting...but if you are going to a club or trying to get some guys attention try vomit green or pink socks with your slacks....last time i wore that outfit a whole group of guys ran a train on me....so it all depends for what occassion you are getting ready...

Try wearing hose under your pants if you have them...
Reply:Most people would turn their head at your socks...really hunny, no one cares enough about your feet to take too much notice. Unless you're blatantly showing it off, it's fine.
