Depends on how dressy and what you are wearing it with. Sorry to be vague like that, but it really also depends on your budget. Good shoes come at a high price, and the better the shoe, the easier it is on your feet. You do not want some crappy heel that will break and cause you twist your ankle.
I recommend you try various heel heights out so you know your limits, and also find a heel thickness that works best for you. Also, depending on your height and weight and foot size, you may have different options or restrictions.
Great places to buy shoes with higher heels are department stores like Macy's and Lingerie Stores like Fredericks. Make sure you have your foot measured and have the shoe sized to fit you.
Color will depend on what you are going to wear it with. Is this a one time outfit (Like a Gown) or something you will wear often?
That also may help decide how much to spend on them!
Good Luck!
Can you recomend a high heel dress shoes for me?
BCBG makes great heels
Reply:It depends on the outfit you wear them with. I love black stiletto heels, since they are a classic wardrobe staple. Black heels are the traditional "dressy shoe", and will always make a formal statement. My stiletto are 4.5 inches high, but lower black heels also look nice. For a less painful alternative, try shoes with chunky heels that are thick at the bottom. AVOID kitten heels, or any shoes that have a thick upper heel that becomes very thin at the bottom. I have some lovely pairs like that, but my feet start hurting within a half hour of wearing them!
Reply:depends on your size, a lot of designers make shoes that look awesome on much smaller feet and vice versa for bigger feet. Cheap awesome shoes offbroadwayshoes.com but most boutiques are the best way to have a unique pair that your girl friends can be super jealous about.
