ABSOLUTELY
This is perfect for a business casual outfit. By that I mean a dress shirt, sweater, blazer combination.
dress shirt, tie, jeans, shoes
dress shirt, sweater, blazer, jeans, shoes
tshirt, sweater, blazer, jeans, shoes
polo, blazer, jeans, shoes
dress shirt, blazer, jeans, shoes
I think you get the idea. Check out details and GQ. It is all over the place.
Oxfords, Loafers, and Wingtips are all OK. Square-toe shoes are out of style now.
On the other hand, just polos or t shirts with jeans and shoes are bad.
And by jeans, I ALWAYS mean darker wash "dressier" jeans without holes
Is it alright for a man to wear dress shoes with jeans?
yeah, as long as there is a blazer involved
Reply:NO!!!!!!!!!!!!
Reply:Yeah if they're nice gator skin shoes.
Reply:absolutely not!
Reply:No way! Just way tacky. There are nice casual shoes besides sneakers that look great with jeans but not a dress shoe.
Reply:Absolutely! But only if the above-jeans bit is dressy as well.
I love to see a guy in a dinner jacket with jeans and jazzy shoes. Very sexy. But it really depends on the wearer being able to project confidence in his style.
Reply:no some celebrities dresses like that.
Reply:why not?
Reply:it depends on what kind of jean.such as dress jeans or dark blue washes, also it depends on the shoe.
Reply:To pull this off, you probably need to wear dark jeans and a blazer too. However, this is VERY difficult to look good in (unless you're David Beckham) so try it at your own risk of embarrassment!
Reply:didn't use to be but it's a growing trend to be able to, it's usually okay to now, but more likely you'll see it done with loafers...than actually dress shoes since its really hard to pull of
Reply:Yes it is My dad pulls it off....you just gatta have the right jeans....and like a nic e jaket and shirt with it
